Visual

My undergraduate degree included studying graphic design, print design, and photography. You can see my work from 2022 to 2023 below—and how much my skills grew with each project!

Design Courses

How She Writes

From September to December 2023, I ran and designed Instagram writing account to showcase my social media and graphic design skills.

Create an Advertisement: In the Fast Lane

I wanted to create an advertisement for something that I was interested in and had ties to. What better way to accomplish this than an advertisement for Harley riders?

Teton Magazine Design

For one of my classes, I was tasked to create a magazine spread based on an article online. These are my photos that I took in Alta, WY.

Advanced Photography

River Horse

One of my photographs were mounted on metallic material and hung in the communication department building in March 2023.

Product Photography

Product photography is a great way to expand your editing skills, be an asset to your company, and add more talents for freelance work.

Behind The Scenes

In our photo excursion to Island Park, Idaho, I was able to help the students in the Comm 300 Photography course with their assignments.

Fashion Photoshoot

As part of my photography courses, we planned and participated in a Fashion Shoot for nine model groups.

Pretty in Pink Poster Redesign

I was determined to make this poster something I am extremely proud of. I decided to create an 80’s classic movie poster, Pretty in Pink.

SQIBB Photography

This week, we learned how to use a light kit in our photography. We focused on a technique called SQIBB, also known as “Studio Quality Invisible Black Backdrop”.

Ordinary Spot, Extraordinary Shot!

OSES stands for “Ordinary Spot, Extraordinary Shot”. This means taking your photos in an “ordinary” or boring spot and making them spectacular.

Bannack, Montana Photoshoot

As part of my photography courses, we completed a photo excursion to visit the ghost town of Bannack, Montana.

Introductory Photography

Printed Fine Art Photography

This semester I have grown so much. For my Fine Art prints, I chose to use a macro shot of a leaf and a portrait shot of Maserati.

Macro Shots

In class, we practiced macro photography. This assignment was where I realized there is a lot of potential for a photo in post-production.

The Perspective of Nine

I took these photos at Nature Park in Rexburg, Idaho. Nature Park is a place that means a lot to me and I am continually in awe of how beautiful Rexburg can be when you take the time to look a little closer.

The Fallen Rose

I found this collapsed rose in the gardens of the Smith Amphitheater on campus. The way it was dramatically placed by nature itself became my perfect shot.

Blurred Motion

This is my very first photography project where I understood how to use the manual options of a camera, such as shutter speed and ISO.
